So after my success with other high quality Steeda parts...I found myself at the quarter mile lining up to try and see what my car could do. Unfortunately after adding a little bit of power thru mods such as the steeda cold air and my lund tune, I experienced some AWFUL wheel hop. Pretty much no matter how I launched the car the wheel hop was present. This resulted in me having to back out every time, and horrible 60 fts ranging from 2.2-2.4.

I knew then, some form of subframe bracing would be required if I wanted to try and actually get the power to the ground without wheel hop.

Fast forward to now, with over 1000 miles on the Steeda subframe braces...and color me IMPRESSED. When installing them correctly and using a 2nd jack to jack up and put pressure on the subframe, the install was a breeze. After doing that, everything lined up perfectly for me and I had both sides done in 45 minutes total, including jacking & jackstand time.

As soon as I put them on I started driving around, the difference was immediately felt, and I was surprised by that. I was only expecting to feel the change when trying to launch the car, not an all around improvement of the car just from those 2 braces! The car feels less bouncy in general...after driving a stock performance pack 5.0 and going back to mine the difference is absurd with just the eibach springs and the steeda brace combined.

My confidence cornering has gone up, digs on the street feel a lot better...and I'm super excited to get back to the track when it reopens from it's winter break. I'll report back again after I get back on the track but I had to make this thread for everyone else who only thought you need these braces for drag racing.

If I had to start all over with another 5.0 that was stock, I'd honestly shoot for the braces and some suspension parts well before a tune, headers, etc.

Thanks to David@Steeda for providing such awesome parts for our car!

Yea, I've had these and the K subframe brace for awhile now. One of my first mods. Highly recommended both. Cheap, easy to install, and good improvements.

Are these currently on a backorder? I was about to order them but saw one site say they're not available until 21 Jan. I need to get rid of the wheel hop on my car bad. I've already got the IRS Supports, just grabbed vertical links yesterday and wanted to do these with that install. I can't stand the wheel hop anymore

These should be available right on our site, where do you see Jan 21? Thanks

I think it was on LMR.com that said "extended delivery ships Jan 21". Either way, now that I know they're not, I will order them today.
