I love my Steeda subframe braces, too! Steeda installed them last Friday at their shop in Valdosta.

These have really help tie all the other IRS Steeda suspension components that they have installed. The rear is very sure of itself. I can apply power sooner in the exiting of the turn. Wheel hop is gone, too :)

hey quick question , in the pics above, it looks like the lift mounts aren't flush where it meets the brace, is it my eyes or does it not mount flush, meaning is the lift flush against the brace?

They are the best people! I have been twice so far and love every minute of it.

The flange of the brace does indeed push down about .25" below the flush point. So there is just a slight protrusion.

Had the same problem at the track. 60 fts were terrible as was the wheel hop. I installed these braces on my EcoBoost recently and the difference was immediate! The rear is way more stable than before. I can push through sweeping corners and the tires stay planted.
Now I gotta install my other Steeda parts and go back to the track to redeem myself.

Glad those Steeda support braces are tackling that wheel hop! Enjoy!

Can someone chime in on the performance difference between these braces and just the subframe bushing support kit?

Hey, they actually work hand-in-hand and together will reduce wheel hop by about 85-90%. Our subframe bushing support system fills the factory subframe voids without raising the ride height and without increasing NVH - it's also not a permanent modification and greatly reduces wheel hop.

Our IRS support braces tie together three very key points in the rear of the car in an effort to keep it planted. If installing both, we'd recommend picking up our IRS subframe alignment kit as many subframes were slightly mis-aligned from the factory.

I installed all of these at the same time in my garage. The difference was amazing. Although David only claims 85-90% wheel hop reduction, it eliminated all of mine and with NO added NVH. Burnouts leave 2 nice even marks now but best of all, control coming out of a corner!

Mine are going on this weekend with the IRS and Diff bushings as well.
Sweet, looking forward to your thoughts post-install!

They def made an improvement on my cars wheel hop.

At the track, me trying to learn how to launch a car with IRS on the crappy 235/18 P Zeros, I pulled 2.0 60 ft times. Not amazing but not bad for the tires and my level of confidence with the car first time out.
