Return To Stock Before Tuning With New Platform

So I am currently tuned with HP Tuners RTD. I am going to a new tuner that uses SCT and I just bought a brand new unmarried SCT X4. Question is, should I return the ecu to stock calibration with the RTD before I marry the X4 and flash the new tune? Anyone know? I’m not even sure if the X4 will marry and tune the car if it’s not on the stock calibration.

If it were me, yes, I’d flash back to stock using your RTD before attempting any revisions with the SCT X4.

I think it would still work, but you'll want the new tuner to save the stock tune in case you need to switch back. Otherwise it will save your old tune instead.
