Question on the AG batteries: I understand you can't jump start them normally, is that correct? What's the option if you end up with a dead AG battery?
That is NOT correct. It’s a 12v battery. Jump start normal.

Yes. That’s the AntiGravity everyone has been talking about.Does anyone make LiFePO4 battery for these cars? My wife's Cayenne GTS has one. Seems pretty small and light and is safer and more durable than Li Ion.

Good to know. I'll have to find where I saw that...That is NOT correct. It’s a 12v battery. Jump start normal.
If it's dead after a couple of weeks of no use, replace the battery and keep an eye on the new. Maybe you have a drain, most possibly not, but better safe than sorry.Haven’t started my car up because it’s so cold in Michigan. It’s been two weeks and my battery is completely drained not one light on. Does that mean I should buy a new battery or jump it? The battery is abt a year old but I heard the cells die out after not starting the car for months at a time. Idk not sure

Do you have a part number for the 96R series? My 19 currently has this one. Per Carfax it had a battery replaced in 2019, wonder if it's this one.Regarding battery BRANDS, like @monte87 did above, I also replaced the OEM Motorcraft battery in my 2019 GT350 with a new Motorcraft battery, so I don't have any experiences to share regarding alternate brands. As you may already know, there are various posts within this forum regarding battery issues that may offer insights on different brands, such as Optima or Antigravity, that others prefer, as well as a section "Mechanical Maintenance and Servicing" that may offer some helpful thoughts/recommendations.
However, referencing SPECS, I definitely wanted to increase the mediocre 390 CCA contained in the original battery to as high a CCA capacity as I could go within a 96R series Motorcraft battery, which was a 590 CCA battery, to ensure for no fitment or electrical compatibility issues, while providing increased starting power. The additional weight (approximately 6 pounds, as I recall) of the new battery was not a concern to me. I'm very satisfied with the replacement. It will all come down to what your concerns and priorities are.
As @MiamiGT350 above noted, be sure to check out the info at that link and on other posts regarding the BMS reset procedure if you replace the battery yourself.
You may also want to consider buying a Battery Tender, such as CTEK, if you don't already have one if your 350R is not driven for extended periods, assuming you have access to a nearby 110V electrical outlet. Other posts are available on this subject as well.
Good luck with whatever you decide! (Nice collection of performance vehicles, by the way.)
It doesn’t have anything to do with not Starting the car. Many people go months all the time without starting the car. I Never start my cars unless I’m gonna drive it. Cells die after voltage drops below a certain value; I think that’s in the neighborhood of ~10v.but I heard the cells die out after not starting the car for months at a time. Idk not sure

I think I have one somewhere I’ve never used it. Also I meant I started it and drove it. It seemed perfectly fine then two weeks later not a single light on and won’t respond to my fob. At first I changed the fob batteries. I'll just buy a new battery. I have a fore innovations fuel system it’s hooked onto the battery. Do I swap the battery out the same way I just don’t want to ruin anythingQ?
do you have a trickle charger, have you used it ?
A!
Just starting the car will never charge the battery, it must be driven.
It’s an OEM battery that’s 11 months old. It’s just odd that it just completely died like that. As a more serious response, I’m probably just gonna use my Ford points and get whatever best Motorcraft battery the dealership has.To those who have installed Antigravity batteries, how do you keep the battery from coming out when you open the hood? I’d understand you’d have to close the hood quickly.
