Replace Standard Seats with Recaros

I want to replace standard factory seats in me if my Mach1s with Recaros.

Ford performance sells the below turn key kits for $4,505.

That seems very pricey.

Any idea where I can get essentially the same or better for less???

I've been kinda wanting to swap my passenger seat for a comfort seat so the wife enjoys long drives (her head hits the harness slots). I'll probably have to settle for some pillow.

Hey, that might work, the middle-top of her head is what hits this might push her head too far forward. She's only 4 foot 10, this may be toooooo tall

check levittown ford, they have great prices on FP stuff.

if that or the Steeda price are too high, keep an eye peeled on this forum’s marketplace for a swap offer on someone’s semi used seats, and post a wtb/wtt in the forum marketplace. If you’re patient they do show up from time to time.

i swapped my stock leather seats for someones set of recaros for $600 cash (and my seats), which was exactly what the doctor ordered. The seats I got had some miles but completely worth it IMHO.

Facebook Marketplace, and various facebook S550 parts pages. Leather one's in decent shape occasionally pop op for 2500ish. I'm hawkeyeing looking for the cloth recaros. Now those RARELY pop up.

For less than that you could buy a pair of these

now if you have a red Mach 1 these would look cool
