I recently took delivery of my 2020 GT350R. I knew it had some PA turnpike stickers on the lower left corner inside the windshield. Figured it would be easy to peel off. I was so wrong. These stickers were glued to the windshield. I tried to peel off as gently as possible and lot of the adhesive is stuck to the inside of the windshield. See attached pic. I tried Goo Gone and no luck at all. Anyone have suggestions on how to get this leftover adhesive off the inside of the windshield - without scratching the glass?

Thanks for the input.

Same thing DMV uses.......a razor blade. It will not scratch your glass. Just put a towel on the dash and be careful.

Plastic will cut you just as quick as a metal blade will but it won't scratch the glass.

And "real men" do whatever is needed to get the job done.

They are not meant for shaving, they are for exactly what the OP needs done, getting a sticker or sticky residue off of a delicate surface like glass.

Did you not see the laughing emoji? I was kidding. And I’ve used metal blades for removing registration and inspection stickers for 50 years and never once scratched my windshield.

3M adhesive remover. Spray it on a rag and wipe the windshield. Don't let it get it on the dash.

Lay a towel on the dash. Use a heat gun on low heat over the sticker area. Use a razor blade, plastic scraper (old credit card works) once it's warm the vast majority will come right off. Then heat the area up again, wipe an old microfiber across and the remaining adhesive will ball up into the towel. Then clean it.

I found rubbing alcohol works really well to remove glue residue.

The rubbing alcohol worked... a little patience and a lot of rubbing! But it all cleaned up nice. Thanks for the help.
