Eh...since Safelite will come to me, I scheduled it. I didn't need that $600 for anything, anyway. :angry:

You could always do a comp claim and pay for it in the long run instead of once up front :p

$600 ?!?!?

Local windshield place I've used for more than 10 years - they come to me and it's nowhere near $600. Just had a windshield done in a newer model Silverado for $200 with warranty.

Part of the expense was my option to retain the "Ford" emblem at the top. I could've saved around $100 to forego that, but I didn't see a point. $600 doesn't really hurt that much more than $500. Ugh.
