Dobie pads work great for water spots too. They can serve dual purpose for bugs on your bumper. Great little pad to have

Serious question. If it's designed to clean glass products why can't you use it on your windshield? Scrub buds are not abrasive. The acoustic coating on our windshields is sandwiched between two glass layers so you won't damage that.

It worked fine for me. YMMV.
There are all kinds of products that are "designed" to do certain things that I simply wouldn't. You may do as you choose and give your opinion, I will do the same.

Sure the ACOUSTIC layer is sandwiched, but what else is coating your windshield on either side? You certainly didn't mention any of the other laminates so do you actually know?

I had HORRID water spots. Vinegar wouldnt even begin to touch them. The only thing that worked was Zaino Z-12 polish.
