I appreciated the advice I actively solicited with this thread!

What kind of driver mods do you suggest? Having the driver do a cool down lap before push laps? This driver already does that. Having the driver do a cool down lap before pitting? My driver does that...
I more meant that I'd focus on your driving and refining that vs trying to chase performance improvements. Even de-tuned race engines in the GT4 are going to pull timing in hot conditions. As @JAJ said, about the only thing you can do is start out with more power and have it reduce to a number that's higher than your stock setup right now. But you'll do it at the cost of reliability and for very little gain - just not worth it, IMHO.

Instead, I'd focus on how to get the most out of your tires and brakes when you start get heat soak - that'll affect your lap time far more than losing 10-20 horsepower will.

I went with an Anderson hood and stored my original hood. I have had oil temp issues last time out. It was hot, 97,98 degrees. I ran all day long in Vegas at 104 with no issues. I suspect the humidity played a role. Aside from replacing the oil cooler, I did find the venting in the wheel well is lacking and there are gaps around the cooler. I will be closing those up and looking at the passenger side as well. I also backed the RPM down which helped tremendously. As for power, I second Honeybadger, chasing more power will little to no effect on lap times (without adding hundreds) Driver mods
