Yes, what NGOT8R said! You have to make a slight modification to the kick panel, but nobody will ever see it. They work perfectly. my 2018 GT has the Recaro seats, so they go through the harness slots. If I forget the close the door after I'm all buckled in... I have to ask someone else to close it because I ain't reaching it! 😂

we typically run the race quip stuff. I’m very happy with that.

I like the cam lock harnesses with the quick release

You’re always welcome to reach out with any questions you have on any parts this is what we do every day we can take care of everything in one shot for you

Here’s my .02, do some research on proper shoulder strap angles, you can get seriously injured with a lot of the safety harnesses on the market.

Agreed. Safety has been part of my life for the last 40 years, so I never take safety for granite. Thank you

I live near HMS Motorsport in Mooresville, NC and have toured their factory.

They sell Schroth harnesses and Joe, the owner, was demonstrating how the Quick Fit Pro harnesses provide anti submarining features without requiring the anti-submarine crotch belt.

The top part of the harness has a rip stitch that will allow the driver to lean forward by 2" while the waist harness will hold you in place. This helps prevent any submarining that you would do in a frontal impact. It will not be as secure as a full racing harness, but the QFP is street legal while a full racing harness is not.

Here is a video of Joe explaining all of this:

Story time:

I was at Carolina Motorsports Park in 2020, driving a 2015 Mustang GT with the QuickFit Pro harnesses and the premium leather seats. I came around turn 3 and my car had a mechanical failure, which threw the driver's side into a tire barrier with force. I didn't move. Not 1 inch, even in those sloppy leather seats.

The Schroth QFP harness turned what would have been a complete disaster into almost a non event for me. The car was phuckered up pretty good and I ended up replacing it, but I was fine. I will not drive my car on track without Schroth harnesses, full stop.

Full disclosure: I am on the board of directors of the Carolina Regional Mustang Club and HMS Motorsport is a sponsor of our Performance Driving School event, of which I am the chief registrar. I have known Joe for years, and he's a really good guy. That being said, this has absolutely nothing to do with my recommendation, but I thought I'd make the disclosure anyway.

Hey Doug, I also have the Schroth QFP4 in my car. Are you planning to go on track soon?
No track, just need to be secured when driving spiritly on the road. I don't have the Recaro seats so I can slide pretty hard left to right. Not good
