Hey Doug, the extreme contact sport 2 may be an option. It’s a new tire and I haven’t seen many reviews yet.

That is one tire a guy at discount tire said he uses in his Camero and he said they track very good on the street.
Thanks for your help

They slip too much because you live in Indiana and it's cold LOL
Nice, people say they have great grip without having to heat them up much but they say they are slippery in wet conditions. That's ok for me for my car hasn't been driven in the rain. Thanks
They don't grip particularly well until they are good and hot in my opinion. I love my RT660s though, and just put 315s on an 11.5" apex rim.

I have the ECS (original, not 02) and I love them. Theyre right up there with the PS4S in my book, just not as costly.

Depends on the style you want and what your budget is. I personally just got a set of the Michelin Pilot All Season 4 for mine. They are a UHP all season but are very impressive all around on the street. Very good grip in dry and wet so far, no experience in frozen stuff but have been out in cold weather (like 20 ish degrees) and they do really well. That said, they are not a cheap set of tires but I expect them to last me several years with the amount I drive.
Are you enjoying the pilot sport all season 4's? I bought a set of 265/35R-20 last summer and I found them to be loudest set of tires I have ever owned. Insane road noise!

That is great and all, as long as you remember this fact if and when you are out driving and are stuck driving on wet roads in the rain. As it will happen. Even in Dry areas.

I bought a set of Michelin Pilot 4s from tire buyer for my Mach 1 with the handling package. They gave me a 12% discount if I used their installers to mount and balance. I also had a capital one discount app on my computer so I paid $1525 for the tires including tax and disposal fee and $75 for installation at Mavis. They delivered the tires directly to Mavis in 3 days. Four wheel alignment at the dealer was $100. Would have been $25 if they only had to check it but the right rear was out a little so they had to make an adjustment.
Mine are 305/30/19 front 315/30/19 rear.

I am so far. About 1000 miles and they are doing great. Quiet, grippy and handle very well. Drove in heavy rain the first time a couple of weeks ago and they do great. Very happy so far.

Have you put many miles on them yet?

Probably about 400 miles. Why? They ride real nice. Better than the Pilot Cup 2’s. They have a 30,000 miles warranty. I also got a $70 gift card back from Michelin.

Thanks for the help. I will be buying new tires next month and needed feedback from other drivers.

But why not drag radials?
You said straight line traction is the main priority, no rain, no issues with wear.
This is a Nitto RII DR with matching 555II up front all day IMO.
Have you ever driven a Nitto 555 DR? They are excellent street tires.

To be honest, the Firehawks are my first sport tires in a very long time. So you like the Nitro 555?, How do the corner, handle on roads?.

I noticed that to, kinda weird, for most 325 widths are from 11.4-12.3.
You would think that 325mm tread width would be the same for all manufacturers, but I suppose it depends on where each manufacturer measures the tread from.
