Are vertical links most useful for cars that are tracked? Mine is driven on the street - I'd really like to get rid of the wheel hop.

John,

Not at all! I will never track my car but like you, desperately wanted to get rid of the wheel hop! Making a left turn a little too aggressively leaving the dealer right after I bought my car showed me just how bad the problem is. It isn't too easy to control a car that is hopping all over the place! I've had the Steeda S550 Mustang Billet Aluminum Vertical Links on my car for over a year with maybe 20k miles on them and absolutely love the difference it made with no NVH at all. There really wasn't a down side. The rear feels much more connected and so much easier to control.

Mustang.... Duhhhh
I've been using the Boomba Vertical Links for about 9 months, including one track day. I'm lowered on Sportlines. I've had ZERO issues with mine at all. No increase in NVH that I can notice. They did not completely get rid of wheel hop, but they did help a bit.

The biggest effect is on inside wheel hop when doing sharp turns accelerating from a low speed. On straight line, the effect on wheel hop is rather small...for that you'll need something like the BMR cradle lockout CB005 or Steeda bushing support and a BMR or Steeda LCA bearing.

BMR with the sphericals are great for the street. 10/10 would buy and install again

Our TCA045 are my vote.

Currently, they are the only links of their kind - and we have a staggering amount of them out on the tracks, drag strips and roads across the world, with nothing but excellent feedback.

As stated above, they are VERY easy to install...and from that point on, enjoy.

Happy Modding!

I saw that. Someone finally caught on two years later.
