Any idea what could be causing my rear tires to wear this way?
No I don’t plan on driving these anywhere until I get new tires. I was watching the outside tread and thought I was ok.

Mine are not that bad but are definitely worn more on the inside. Just had an alignment done a few weeks ago and they made some adjustment to the rear. Hoping the next set wears better.

Those are past the wear bars, not even talking about the cord on the inside edge.

if you rotate tires ever, my guess is these spent a while on the front? That tends to hit the inside edge harder than life on the rear, but you have a lot more overall wear than most.

buy new tires and get your alignment refreshed, chances are you have too much toe somewhere.

PP1 so offset rims. Tires have never been rotated.
I knew they were past the wear bars, but I wasn’t too worried, just drove more careful in the rain.
I was planning on doing a good linelock burnout before getting new ones, I think I’ve changed my mind now.
This is my 5th mustang but first with irs, didn’t even think to check the inside wear.

ok usually we see front tires get to cord on the inside edge before the rears, and with plenty of tread depth left everywhere else. Its always michelins which do this.

anyway the rears dont do it as easily, but yours are bald AF enough it might just be normal for an MP4S.

next set check the inside edges religiously. Its a good tire but that part always goes first.

I had the same inside wear pattern on my front tires. Took it to Ford dealership and they said it was toe related.

Camber will feather a tire over time, camber AND toe will chew through a set of tires super fast.

Oddly enough, toe greatly adds to certain positive driving characteristics. Just a little goes a long way though.

As I’ve said in another thread, a good alignment shop is critical to understanding and extracting max performance out of your car.

That's a similar wear pattern on my buddy's new Mustang project. It was the camber and the previous owner forgot to rotate the tires plus there are some deep scratches on both passenger side wheels. We put on new nittos, ion wheels, and brake pads now she rides great.
