I sort of ended up answering my own question in the end. After studying the S550 and S650 rear seats, as well as the rear seat delete in the GT500 CFTP/M1 HP and comparing it to the one in the DH SC. There are several differences to be noted, and that guarantee a kit developed from the DH SC will never work for 2021-2023 cars, and the best we have now is the best we will get. I can almost guarantee Ford will not develop a 2021-2023 specific kit now that the S550 is no longer supported. It’s similar to the power packs IMO.

DH SC you can see has a cut out to the middle left of the rear seat delete which is missing from the S550 delete. Plus, a much different shaped top cut out than the S550 as well.

Here is shown on the GT500 CFTP, no cut out and again, different shaped top piece.

The cherry on top, is the supplied top shelf would be much different as well. Not only in material, as the S650 seems to have leather as the S550 is carpet, but also in mounting points.

Besides saving a trivial few pounds, the rear seat delete will increase the volume of the exhaust sound in the cabin. :like:
THIS is why I haven't even thought about it. Mine is loud as $#!+ now so I don't want it any louder :)

With the hardware removed, it was about 39.5 lbs. dropped. Not bad because the delete was 2.5 lbs, so approximately 37lbs saved

I have been running the rear seat delete on my 2020 GT for a few years now. Somewhere on here I remember someone weighing everything they took out and everything they put back in, I seem to recall is was right around 40 pounds of weight being saved. I will keep looking for that thread. I highly doubt Ford is going to make one specific to the 21 thru 23 cars, probably not much of a market for it at this point. I noticed no additional exhaust noise after installing mine.

My only problem is I can longer fold down the rear seat, so I loose the extra room in the trunk from being able to fold the seats down. Not a big deal, there has only been a few times that I can think of where I could have used the extra room. Not like I look back there that often, but I will admit, it does look really clean. It is reversible, so if you decide you don't like it, can always reinstall the seats and belts.

I agree with you. My original theory was possibly an S650 specific kit off the DH SC would fit the 21-23 cars. As I’m sure 24+ have the same rear belt sensors, and maybe they’d come up with a solution to that. Though, it seems that cars optioned with the delete don’t get the sensors at all (21-23 M1 HP, 21-22 GT500 CFTP). My logic was flawed after all, as the S650 has several differences with its rear shelf and seatbelt area, and a kit made for the S650 would never fit the S550 correctly, regardless.

I don’t think Ford develops FRPP parts for previous models after the fact, especially something so niche. I could be wrong on that though.

That’s actually decent weight savings too, I was surprised to see the difference. If I install the kit, I don’t think I’d have an issue with trunk space or anything truthfully. I don’t have any kids, and it’s not my daily driver, just a fun car. I did end up ordering the kit last night. I’ve decided the M1 is a forever car of mine, and I’d like all the little bits and pieces. This RSD was the only one missing from my window sticker. Oh and the car cover lol. Regardless if I install it or not, I’ll sleep better with it in the spare room.

That is the reason I got it for mine, it is just my weekend car, I have no kids, and the rear seat is pretty much worthless for an adult to be comfortable back there for any amount of time. Plus, my daily driver is a F-150, so plenty of room in it if I need something with room.

Might be able to have someone who is savvy with electronics figure out something for the sensor, maybe some type of jumper for the plug to make it think it is still connected. Way above my ability, but maybe someone can figure it out. Might also be able to find the belt with the connecter in a junkyard, then dismantle it just enough to keep the electrical part to plug in, if that would even be possible.

Some people have absolutely done that, and that is a good solution. I did send an email to Ford Performance and I will call them tomorrow (Memorial Day) to discuss things further, but I believe they’ll tell me what I already know.

I've fitted an EMP rear seat delete kit which is a solid, strong plastic. Not much of a weight saving. I fitted it to make room for a dog bed to fit on it, for my labrador. It does make it a bit noisy, as in road and diff noise.

If anyone is looking to do this method, but leave their original belt buckles intact. Here is what I found for the part number based off my 2022 vin. Obviously, I recommend going to eBay getting cheap takeoffs since they’re getting disassembled anyways.
