Has anyone used the Ford ready shop go tool for buying their car? I find it interesting that my dealer has a $3K plus discount off the msrp on a Bullitt. I will try to submit it when the car arrives to see if this is legit.

It’s not accurate at all and I have proof. I found a dealership that had their Bullitt listed about $2500 below MSRP. When I contacted them they said the car is still in transit and will arrive mid September and will be priced over MSRP. I have complained to Ford corporate because their new ready shop go is misleading and untrustworthy.

I officially quit looking for a Bullitt at MSRP because it’s not possible unless you have connections...
Are you on the Bullitt Mustang Owners and Friends page on Facebook? Someone posted an MSRP deal on there a week or two ago. If something new pops up I'll dm you as long as you're willing to travel.

You are in the Chicago market (I am from there originally), and I've seen a lot of dealerships mark up at this stage in the specialty car lifecycle in that area. We are in that period now where you might want to reach out in multiple places, including out-of-state, to find leads.

What are you looking for in terms of options, and how far would you be willing to travel?

Ford has only been making Bullitt's since June... and you want one RIGHT NOW..? And live in Chicago...

Ever think about all the other people (like you) who want one, and live in Chicago too..?

I know exactly how you feel as I was told from a rep at ford that the dealerships have to honor that price but the car has to on the lot at the same time. She said the only thing they couldn't control was the ADM over MSRP. Good luck with the fight but I know how this will end.

When I approached my dealer he immediately corrected and said it was a mistake.

Give it time!

Hey Matt. Thanks. I would appreciate it if you find any leads. I quit Facebook over a year ago so I don’t have access to the Bullitt group on there.

Thanks. I am looking for electronic package and magneride. Optional car cover is not necessary but not a deal breaker either. The only option I don’t want is the Recaro seats.

I had just received Ford’s latest “reel in” $1,000.00 Customer cash offer in the mail... in the fine print, it states the Bullitt and Shelby’s are excluded from the offer. I’d imagine the same is true for any such misleading offers found below MSRP on those specific vehicles. The problem with those reel ins is the thousands of people who don’t read that very fine print...

The Dealers are trying to bring business to their doors by posting such false baiting BS online not only on their own sites, but their same ads posted all over the many other automotive advertising avenues.
