It's the dealer owner, often the president. They do care and if not call the cops and have the car removed to elsewhere.

Could be service screwed up now CYA.
maybe - but from talking to the people at dealer so far is that my car is not the only one that has been there for months, in reading others posts its happening to everyone. i think all it would do is piss them off and take it out on my car or at very least just make me wait longer...

Supply issues are real. It took me 3 weeks to get a drivers window motor.

I've had issues with dealers service advisors running me around on far less issue. One call to the GM or DP and it's solved with them going way beyond what's required. In you case it would be frank update and a loaner.
they did give me a loaner - but im about to make 3rd car payment for it and its been in shop since 9.21...

It's very fishy they won't show you the car. Maybe they fixed and wrecked it on shake down now waiting for parts.

I would make that call and demand a Mustang loaner or better.
that wont happen... at least here there is a rental car shortage... i was lucky to get a car. ive been by and seen them working on car. just not in past few days.

Well at $100 day rental they better get moving haha they are into it for $9K now
plus parts and labor i asked if was up to 15k or so and they seemed to agree... i havent seen any numbers though.

They should till tell you what's going on it's normal...." "Waiting for parts", " first fix didn't work trying another" etc.
they are working on 3rd cam phaser replacement. at least that is what they tell me. last i saw they did have the whole front of motor apart - it appeared to match w/what they are saying.

i forgot to mention... that when i spoke to service manager he said they did a compression test on the cylinders but couldnt tell me results. Is it normal to do this on a cam phaser replacement job? it seems like it would be but idk...

Ya.. odd to me to. I asked basic questions like , it took 3 days to fix last time, why is it taking 7 this time. These are both after parts arrived. Gonna go up there after work...

Ok... sooo its back together but.. the "timing is off" and its throwing codes - she couldnt give the codes. The Ford escalation tech is saying it now needs cam phaser Solenoids... waiting on parts again... At what point do they just put a new motor in? They are saying so far there is an estimated 15k in warranty repairs to the car. That is insane to me... 15k?? its just a Mustang GT...

From what ive read about the dealer reviews for their shop i dont think so. they are being directed by Ford corp on what to do. Anythings possible i guess.

Nothing you can do except forget about the car and chill or sue.
Sue? How? In tn used car sales protect the car dealer not the buyers.

Just put the car up for sale as is the damages are the spread between market value and transaction price.
