Nathan's famous hot dog stand on Coney Island hold a hot dog eating contest every year on July 4th. Ever heard of Joey Chestnut? He's the current champ being able to devour 70+ dogs and buns in 12 minutes.

No, that part about not wanting 40 hot dogs on hand
Are you trying to kill me? I can only stomach 2 and I'm grossed out and can't even look at them for six months. Ever wonder why people bury a hot dog under a mountain of topping? It's to hide the nasty taste of the hot dog itself.

Never heard of them, does whole foods sell them? Our local grocery stores only sells the standard national brands like oscar mayer or ball park and some local brands.

Whole foods may sell them. I know they have a website. Maybe there's a store locator. I found them at a small local store

I went to their website and apparently a local chain store called Heinen's sells them. I'll have to stop by and see if I can pick some up.

Most dinosaurs didn't die out. They evolved into birds. Change my mind.

I've had encounters with various large birds that bear this out. Little bastards still think they're a T-rex
I legit seen a Canada goose chase down and eat a field mouse. Couldn't believe it. I had to look it up and sure as shite they are omnivorous, as many many other bird species that you wouldn't think they are.

Not buying the right dogs.
there are no such thing as a good hotdog. German 'franks' are IMO questionable. The only cased meat I eat is coarse ground spicy sausage and Lebanon Bologna. Or hand-made 'links' from genuine Minnesota/Wisconsin heritage outfit. If it looks like pink paste going in though, I don't care who made it, I won't eat. Proper toothsome chunks or don't bother.
