If everything is better with butter then sex must be better with butter. What the hell happened to Betty Botter when she said the butter was bitter?

The brain is the worst radio station. It plays songs on repeat all the time and half the lyrics are wrong.

In the big scheme of things, life is just a short break from nonexistence.

One of the most satisfying things in the world is waking up early on a weekend due to your internal clock, and then successfully being able to fall back asleep for a couple more hours.

Wait. You have an internal off button for your internal alarm clock?

Waking up early, heading downstairs and enjoying the peace and quiet with a cup of coffee all by myself, before the damn dogs get up, and the grandson gets up, and the house gets loud. Best time of the day. And in the summertime, slipping out to wash the car for a couple of hours. Heaven!

A really underrated accomplishment is that toilets don't require power to flush.

Very clever George... but they do need energy to flush, but not power.

Indirectly, they do. The actual flushing only requires gravity feed from the tank, but water pressure is required to fill the tank and electrical power is used to drive the pumps to provide the water pressure.

Potential energy for a single flush (i.e. head), but then power for a second flush..... you're BOTH correct...!!!

You can tell if you’re officially ‘old’ when you fall down in front of other people. If they laugh and point, you’re still young. If they look scared and rush to help you, you’re old.
