Nope no reason... you may want to get the steel powder coated or at least painted though to prevent rust and have it look a little cleaner. If you plan to use the bolts that are in car already it may not work, on the steeda rails it bolts through a thin piece of metal, they might not be long enough to go through the 1.5" tubing and still have enough thread left to catchis there any reason I can't use 1.5 x 2.0 tubing and drill holes in ends and make my own rails. $88.00 will get two 60" pieces delivered
even if you go stainless you probably want to paint them. They will be visible from the side of the car and the shiny stainless will probably look out of place. Just my opinion though.figure big hole then little use factory bolts. Lookin for stainless tubing
Yes, not but a lot but if you think about it, they have to be a little lower than the lip of the car or else you wouldn't be able to jack on them....do steeda's show?
Everything I have done has added weight to my car. I guess I need to go on a diet.Im using https://zl1addons.com/collections/j...6th-gen-lift-pads-bolt-on?variant=29847538689.
I like the rails but dont want any more weight.
