Quietest aftermarket catback

Hello all. So I live in a super quiet neighborhood where loud cars are very much “discouraged”. I just got my 2016 5.0 and as much as I love it, my only problem is it sounds so... neutered. So my question is, what is a quiet exhaust that can bring back some of the muscle to this car?

that particular kit also requires a quad tip Roush exhaust, which for OP also means swapping the rear valence.

I went with a Borla S-type and added the Borla resonator. Nice deep tone, no rasp. Just the amount of increased exhaust note that I was looking for. I leave the house at 4:30 A.M and didn't want to upset my neighbors.

I have a Borla system on my ST and while it is quiet at idle and under very low throttle, it gets loud quickly as you get into the throttle. Like at 30% throttle, I start looking around for cops. So too loud.

I have a Magnaflow Street catback on the Mustang and think it is a good balance. Funny, my race mechanic installed a Magnaflow RACE exhaust on a Mustang a month later and called me to tell me I got the wrong system, and how great it sounded. The next day he called me back, and said never mind, I drove it around town and on the freeway a bit and it's kinda loud and droney on the street. Gee how surprising, the RACE system was too loud.

Don't forget about the stealth option of just removing the stock resonator. Then you have no visual indication of a aftermarket exhaust. But more rumble and volume than the too quiet stock system.

P.S. The stock system does seem to pick up some volume and sound better over time. I guess as the packing ages/burns off.

Anything with large style mufflers. Borla-S type, Ford Performance (made by Borla), ARH, and MBRP Street. All quiet contenders until you install long tube headers or delete the cats.
