I did the MAK cat delete a few months back. I currently have the Borla S-Type catback with their resonator. Basically a 3" piped Borla Tourning setup, but it's 2.5" at the resonator. Anyhow, it's borderline loud at cold start. Keeping it mellow with the throttle, it's ok, but get on the throttle, it's a head turner. Bottom line, loud for me might be quiet to you, or it might be too loud for you. Out of courtesy, I asked my neighbors, if the added volume in sound bothered them. They all told me no.
