Your foot controls quickness, not the device in question. The device only alters the pedals modulation (small input, larger output). Stomping on the pedal in both cases will produce the same results, as the speed of your foot is what is controlling things.
I installed a Pedalmax and I was just...meh. Not super impressed, but it does make my car more snappy, not faster, but it seems when I just want to make the engine "vroome, vroome", I am able to do it without moving my foot much. Lol, pretty technical description.

People think their foot can replicate these devices...just like people think they can outshift an auto trans, lol!! You gotta let people believe what they want. One day maybe they'll get one of these devices and realize their foot was doing as much as they think it is. I've used these devices on multiple cars and they have never disappointed me. The only one time I ever stopped using one was because my car was fully modded and the device was causing errors. On my GT I don't have it because I have the Premium. If I didn't then I would be all over this. As it is, I am tempted to buy one just for the heck of it. And I might. But if you wanna use your foot and pretend you're doing something then enjoy yourself. If you want a device that will actually do what you think your foot is doing, then get one.

Your foot CAN replicate these devices. You would have to have one hell of a controlled foot though and lightning reflexes (think Chuck Norris).

Your foot would have to move faster to match the decreased travel/modulation that these devices provide. Those that have a lead foot probably don't need these.

I have a premium and have the Pedal Commander. Way more fun now driving around town in any mode. :headbang:
I will eventually supercharge my mustang. But not until warranty is up.

If your comment was directed towards me, then know that I have from the start defended this product AND stated that it does work and works very well...just in case you haven't been following the thread.
Huh? No, I was referring to the people that were bashing the product and saying people were stupid for using it because it's snake oil.

This product doesnt fix any lag because the lag doesnt come from the pedal on the mustang, it comes from the ecu. This thing is a huge rip off. Why would anyone want to make a couple sacrifices for something they dont even need? These companies should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising.

Like providing a quick, snappy throttle blip for rev-match downshifting.

That's what annoys me about these products. Blatant lies, no doubt run by their lawyers to see what they can get away with without getting sued.

This is from JMS:
Works on all 2011 - 2015 Ford Vehicles Eliminate Turbo Lag on Ecoboost & Diesel Vehicles (Improves vehicle acceleration) believe me.
Enhance low and mid-range horsepower and torque, trust me.
Increase throttle response & make your vehicle easier to drive. Eliminate stalling when accelerating from a stop on manual vehicles. Makes your vehicle great again!

If they just sold it for what it is, a device that lets you adjust your pedal modulation to suite your liking, that would be much better.

Oh look, someone with a Premium AND PP quoting someone else with a Premium....

Drive a base GT with no Sport+ mode and tell me how effective that is. I have 3.55 gears and still had issues. Much improved since getting this product and has made revmatching a lot easier/smoother on downshifts.
I will experiment once Ford releases the PP2 tune but until then, this product has made daily driving a lot more enjoyable.

Yeah, I like the way you worded that. I haven't done the rev-match downshift. But just sitting at idle I like tapping the gas and hearing the engine have the quick type of "bark".

My plan is to install the little knob so I can turn the thing off to see if I can tell the difference now that I've had it installed for a while. Just have to find the 3 minutes it's going to take to install a that knob. Lol.

WHAT? All you had to do was hit the gas harder before, and it would have done the same thing. You guys like wasting your money!!!!:frusty:
I can't take this anymore! I am going to go buy a C.A.I now because, most of the guys that say the Pedal Commander doesn't work say a C.A.I is definitely worth the $400.:frusty:
