No problem. My 5000 even came in boxes with a picture of a red S550 on them.so with the s550 mustang quickjack always shows the extended version on their site. any issues using the standard length ones? i have the bl5000slx and i havent tried it yet but are they long enough to make it to the pinch weld ford recommends you use? ive seen people use the wrong spot and bend the underside of the car up. anyone have any underside pictures?
I bought them when they came out and they wouldn't fit in the openings in the plastic sideskirts. Sold them soon after. For those who have it. Are you buying the blocks to go on the pinch welds?
It comes with rubber blocks of different height. The manual says to NOT lift a vehicle without blocks. That's probably to reduce chance of a vehicle sliding with metal to metal contact. Also eliminates scratches on either. I don't leave the blocks on the Quickjack since I park over it. I only add the blocks after positioning the QuickJack for use.For those who have it. The standard pinch well blocks do not fit because of the side skirts. However they are making hockey puck style ones now not sure if they fit.For those who have it. Are you buying the blocks to go on the pinch welds?
it also needs a little room for leverage to lift the car. It won’t lift from dead flat. Also when you first put it together and bleed the air out of the system don’t raise it full height or it won’t go down. Saw a guy returning a floor model that was displayed at full height and he couldn’t get them down.It comes with rubber blocks of different height. Just to clarify for others: even after its put together it won't willing go down without some weight on it. Fortunately, it only takes 140ish lbs or so and maybe someone to keep the safety locks disengaged.when you first put it together and bleed the air out of the system don’t raise it full height or it won’t go down.
FYI You have one more day for the Costco deal. Thanks for all the replies. I'll be buying one of these!
