Is there a place I can see all the options in a Roush tune?
Mph is really really good. I think the power is too much for 20” rims. I got embarrassed at a light because I couldn’t get traction. Just sat there looking stupid.Went to the strip again tonight. Got in two runs. Temps were fine but I couldn't get much traction.
First run was an [email protected] with a 1.9 60'... Was in Drag Mode, TC off, and got in a nice burnout on my 20" 555RII's. Stalled to 2k and launched a little hard on the throttle...
Second run wasn't that great because I forgot to shift back to D from S on the shifter. I do my burnouts in S so I can click through the gears but for some reason I never remember to shift back to D... MPH is always lower in S and the shifts take longer to me... Anyway, I was slower than my first run but it was my favorite run of the night because I waxed a P100D Tesla model X who's license plate was KLAWATT. Granted, I tree'd his ass pretty badly but I was expecting him to take the lead at some point. If he would've had a better reaction time at the line he would have only beat me in the 1/8th mile. My best 1/8th mile so far is a 7.0.
Changing my license plate to TSLAKLR. Haven't lost to one yet (P100d Model X's run 11.3's apparently but have fantastic 0-60 times)
For reference, my best 60' on these rims and tires is a 1.7.
I'm on the right.
Yeah, I have thought about buying some 17" rims but if I did I wouldn't want to have to swap back and forth just to go to the strip so I would have to buy some really nice ones. (I like my 20"s too damn much ) If I were to go that route, I would probably buy some bead lock Weld's and my wife may wonder WTF I'm doing buying *another* set of rims. (I still store the PP1 rims I have in a closet so I have a spare set if I don't want to buy new DR's every 6000 miles)Mph is really really good. I think the power is too much for 20” rims. Hell, I'm still learning the in's and out's of this car! Got no problem admitting my faults and sharing times. I have plenty of practice on the tree to cut a good light 95% of the time but that doesn't mean I'm any better at applying the gas I share my results because they are about what an average person is going to be able to achieve.420, I appreciate you sharing results regardless of conditions, driver error or results. So many guys wait for the absolute ideal conditions and then share their best one-off run.
20s are not ideal for launching but the 1.7 60 that you had a few weeks ago is impressive.
i love my 20’s too. I’m putting new tires on myself but they’re not drag radials so I guess I stick to occasional roll race. Or maybe the continental extreme contact sports will surprise me. The hellcatguys seem to love them so who knows.Yeah, I have thought about buying some 17" rims but if I did I wouldn't want to have to swap back and forth just to go to the strip so I would have to buy some really nice ones. I think the Continental Extreme Contact Sports do really well actually. I’m still going to run them on the fronts and I’m trying the Nitto 555RII’s on the rear and see how much of a difference. Those Conti’s handle extremely well both dry and wet and surprisingly hooked pretty good for a Max Performance Summer Tire.i love my 20’s too. yes post your comparison review. I switched the Contis out immediately for the toyos. The toyos are amazing but they’re $500 a tire (installed) and last one summer.I think the Continental Extreme Contact Sports do really well actually. Need 10”+ rims for 305’s . 9.5” rims max at 285 according to the tire manufacturer specs. What are the full tire size specs and rim width? I am going to go 20 rear on mine and am looking at 305’s.
I run 11" rears on 315/35/20 Nitto 555rii and 10" fronts on 285/35/20 Nitto 555g2 for a flush daily set up. Rears hook nicely. Considering a dedicated 17 " track setup but like 420 not really wanting to swap just to head to the track lol.Need 10”+ rims for 305’s . 9.5” rims max at 285 according to the tire manufacturer specs.

P51. Saved more than 10lbs per corner over the boat anchor pp1 wheels despite going wider. Rears around 21lbs with the front slightly less. What wheels?
