The UPR looks pretty solid.

Damn. What's the big deal with a CC that it voids the warranty. Just makes no sense.
what makes no sense to me is using a part that supposedly protects the engine but yet the 1. Manu didnā€™t feel it helps protect anything and didnā€™t install. 2. The aftermarket sc manu and tuner (Roush) who provides an after market warranty doesnā€™t think it helps even a little.

I always thought a catch can was suspect based upon the above. Now maybe on a higher horsepower customer tuned application with more corrosive to oil E85 itā€™s different. No idea. Iā€™m still on the fence

So here is reply from Roush on catch cans where I removed the name of person.

With the catch cans, we do not feel they are necessary and haven't tested with any. If you do plan to use them, JLT or UPR seem to be the popular choices and they make specific ones for the ROUSH S/C.
That certainly does not sound like a warranty voiding statement. The Roush tech who installed my S/C highly recommended the UPR catch can.

Had mine on since owning been to tindol roush and the local dealership for cats being replaced and phase II install nobody said anything doubt they even noticed but i wasnt there to get a motor replaced either. Iā€™d keep stock hoses in case you had a major warranty issue and go back to stock but the cc works as i see the oil it captures and i did keep my purge hose in the back tied in mocked up a tee using stock hoses cant remember my routing would have to look
