I just traded my 2021 for a 2022 Grabber blue metallic with performance pack. I know that it comes with some upgraded items on the vehicle such as brembo but what else is upgraded.

Does the suspension come upgraded and would be considered OK? or does it need to be beefed up a bit. What about sway bars, shocks, etc...

I do want to get rid of the hop and is planned for this summer but what else could be a good update/update to compliment the PP.

tks much.

PP includes the brakes the strut tower brace and the extra guages in the center stack. I believe the sway bars are a little bit beefed up as well. Also the tires are larger (255 40 and 275 40 staggered). Not sure what else. Mine is a PP with magneride.. Congrats on the new ride. I've got a GT Premium PP in Grabber Blue metallic as well.

I was looking for one with magneride. Rode one in black with it and absolutely loved it but hated black cars

PP1 car here. The front struts and rear dampers are a slight upgrade over base models. But that's not offering much. One of the first things I did suspension wise, was change out the rear dampers. They did not control the up and down rear movement and made for a bumpy experience on the street. I changed them for the Ford Performance track dampers. It made a huge difference. You can stop there and be happy with how it handles. I was craving a bit more a year later, so I also did the the front struts, lowering springs all around, and the rear cradle lock-outs.
The PP1 also comes with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires which are fantastic tires. The downside is the rims are way too heavy.
Look at the Stop-The-Hop kits offered by Steeda. The basic cradle lock-out bushing kit is a must to lock in the loose rear end.
Do you have wheel hop? An automatic is going to have less hop than a manual.

tks for the comparison details.

i do t have the hop as bad as manual but still have it when you ride on sport with paddles.
for tires we get the crap pirelli p-zero summer tires only. feels like you are on a skating rink with mild rain. no grip at all.

for suspension i was thinking of FP street suspension kit or the steeda kit. would like some comments on which is better for street use without breaking your back due to rough ride. don’t want the car to slam every bump

for k brace, is it only the top one or bottom as well? looking at the steeda k brace for lower. any comments on this?
other options?

tks again

Do yourself a solid favor and get rid of the Pirelli's. That would be my first upgrade. This alone can improve your traction and reduce wheel hop. Not to mention if you are driving in the rain you need a better tire. No question here.

The FP street kit has the same struts and dampers as the PP1. So you don't want that one. I am riding on the FP track dampers and Steeda minimum drop springs. It's a VERY nice setup for the street. It's not harsh at all. It feels firm and in control. I love this combo. I didn't want all the other stuff that came in the kit so I bought the parts separately.

The upper chassis has all the bracing you need. You can add the aftermarket K brace to stiffen the lower chassis.

I can't answer that because that's not a pic of my car. I don't have this brace. But general consensus from others is yes, it helps in the turns.
