To be fair, it's safe to assume that people with QC issues are more likely to check this thread out and place a vote. I don't think this poll serves any kind of use outside of M6G.
I agree. I'm one of the guys with issues but still love the car. Not to mention that a idiot hit my car and run away. She's coming in the body shop on the 1st April to fix the quarter panel and alignments at once.

I would make it sticky where members could see it, but I'm sure a lot guys here would like to see it disappear. :gossip:

Wow if we do a statistical analysis on this data Quality Issues is a pretty high percentage, thats pretty bad!

I think all brands have their bad cars and buying a 1st year redesign you can expect some issues that will hopefully get worked out.

As for the Camaro I didn't buy a 2010 because of being a 1st year car and many 2010 Camaro owners had issues. My 2012 Camaro SS/RS had no issues the 2 years I owned it. I traded it for a 2014 SS Sedan because I wanted the drive capabilities of the Camaro but in 4 dr form. The 2014 was a 1st year car for here in the US but Holden has been making this basic car for several years and I've had no issues with it for the 9months/12K miles I've had it.

Hopefully Ford can workout the quality issues with the new Mustang as I have spot in my garage to keep it safe at night:D
This is so true these, days. I have owned 3 stangs, 2010 , 2014, 2015. There has been some sort of issue with all three . Minor only. First year new designs are like a feeling out period. I usually wait 3 years in before buying . I did not do that with S550. I have a Fob, and camera issue. Still the design is overall solid. :ford:

Mine arrived with nearly perfect body panel alignment which has plagued the S550 from the beginning. So I think they are getting better. But the front bumper was molded poorly and stuck out a quarter inch past the passenger side headlight to the point where you could actually look into the bumper. I have only seen one other instance of this occurring so I think I just got lucky.

The dealer is going to swap over a front clip from a known good car since I didn't want any paint work done on a new car.

There were a couple other things like a paint chip on the passenger door & a ding on the fender but I figure those were shipment issues, not QC.

The ding and chip .........Yep, looks like transport issues. The panels are alright on mine. No exterior issues on alignment. No interior issues as far as i can tell. Mine was built in January ordered November 2014. Delivered to me 2/21/15. The dealer kept it indoors in storage , till weather improved in NYC. Just drove the car today. Rides nice . Put some varied driving on the car, No issues found. Quality control has always been an issue with new design cars. They do improve on the line as months progress if the issues can be resolved. Later built cars get the benefit. Still i purchased and ordered early. This is my 3rd Mustang.:ford:

My car seems to be pretty good. Everything is tight, gaps are within what I would consider "reasonable tolerances" although not 100% immaculate. No mechanical issues to speak of.

The only issues I have are some bluetooth related quirks with Sync, and the all too prevalent headlight switch rattle which I assume should be fixed sooner or later as so many people are having that issue. The car seems pretty good otherwise.

Every dealer has to make a PDI. It doesn't matter if it is from the factory or transport. A car should look new without any issues when the customer is picking it up and FORD/Dealers are getting paid for that.

From 196 Mustang owners 95 have issues. I know. Not everyone is voting here and a lot not looking like they should. Remarks like "it's only a Ford" shows the low expectations some Mustang owners have already, but it looks bad for Ford's 50th anniversary Mustang in 2015.

There are over 100k Mustangs that have built.....Looks great for Ford's 50th Anniversay Mustang.

We still don't know how many are flawless. Ford did hold back around 4,000 Mustang in February at Flat Rock. I'm sure they didn't do it because they were all 100% fine. My dealer is fixing panel issues since he started selling the 2015 Mustangs. And this is only one dealer I know about because his people told me about. From sales guys to body shop workers. Again. I'm happy for everyone who has a flawless car. But some don't have a flawless car.

Thanks. (98 with issues / 101 without issues)

We have officially hit the 50/50 mark. When I started this thread, I honestly did not think this would be the case. I was certain the votes would be heavy on the side of no issues. Obviously, like others have stated, there are variables that affect the results... where the thread is located, percent of owners that are members who have actually voted, etc. But still, with all of the variables, I am still surprised.
