Remove them yourself. The less it goes in to the dealer, the less likelihood of them destroying something else.

Like the guys that built my 1968 Mustang GT Coupe... this gem was found when I took the dashpad out. Look at the yellow sticker... states "Guaranteed 100% Pure Bullshit", it was the first time the factory dashpad was out of it.

I went ahead and removed them. Total of 4 shop rags, 2 per side. Its like they ran out of the cotton filler that's behind there, and they said "f*** it, throw in some shop rags!".
FYI - I thought they were clean but they were dirty.

Alright, I'll be the first to say what everyone is thinking. This is not a BMW and you should not be surprised. You have to pay more to expect more. If anything, you should be happy that Ford included this innovative, low cost sound deadening material. :lol:

And yes, I am joking and this is really poor attention to detail in the manufacturing process.

I have none. I don't think I want any though.

I have 2 key fobs, and I guess a key to the glove compartment.

This was probably done at the factory by assembly workers. I'd let the Ford Rep here know so he can report it up the chain. Don't need clowns putting these Mustangs together. :doh:

Thought I seen a post where someones trunk was leaking water from a rain storm. Maybe his car was thought to have a leak and ford stuffed these rags back there to check for that and never removed? Sure is weird.
