Lets say I was pulled over for speeding but wasn't, is there a way to access the car computer to bring evidence to court?

If you were datalogging via tuning device, it would not reference atomic time. If you have a control freak app like life360, it would show you path of travel, atomic time and speed via phone gps.

What you need is a dashcam, before getting into something like this... 🤷‍♂️

There is no data in the car to retrieve, if you did not set up a device for it by yourself.

Good dashcams have GPS, the GPS speed can be blendet into the video.

The thing about dashcams is that once you record something and an accident or incident happens it can be used for or against you depending on the circumstances. The one thing you absolutely do not want to do it intentionally delete video immediately after an accident or incident as that can be seen legally as destroying evidence. Circumstances are limited but that blade does cut both ways.

A story in the local news a few months ago, some bad dudes stole a F150 truck and went on a crime spree. Then they took the truck into the woods and attempted to burn it to the ground but the cops got there before it burnt and the fire was put out. Then the cops downed the memory from the factory gps unit and traced back the entire crime spree. So if your car has factory gps it can be done. If the cops know how to do it there must be other's out there that could do it for you.
