So I'm looking to get into the high 12's naturally aspirated. I was thinking about doing full suspension first and then going to power mods after that. Any recommendations on suspension mods and/or power mods to help me get there? Mind you I won't be tuning my car for a while so anything that requires a tune is out of the question right now but I know eventually I'll have to. Tires are Mickey Thompson street comps and I have resonator delete and muffler delete. Thanks in advance guys

Put a turbo on it. You only need a tune if you run an intercooler.

theres a number of IRS mods you can do to get rid of wheel hop. look into the steeda option. youll probably need atleast 3:55's or 3:73s. its certainly not impossible, theres a number of guys with S197s that run 12s NA, and honestly, I think the S550 could hook harder and get better 60 ft times with a couple irs mods.youll probably want to atleast run drag radials. that and the gears will get you into the low 13s. do the basic bolt ons, and ported intakes, and you should be able to hit high 12s without much issue

Cradle lockout, vertical links, bushings, irs brace, tie rods, anything I'm missing? And would coilovers or a good spring and strut be better?

I mean, depends how serious you want to go....if you want a drag only setup, im sure theres some guys in the EB section that could give you the best setup, I personally wouldn't want to sacrifice handling to drop my 60ft another tenth or two. the biggest thing is getting rid of the wheel hop, going to 3:73 (I take it you have 3:15s) and getting some sticky tires.

Vertical links will be here Friday. Hopefully going to the strip Saturday to get a baseline and then it's on to see where full suspension and tires gets me

looking forward to seeing your runs! are you AT or MT? if your MT, be aware your flywheel might break. I already broke one, got a stock GT flywheel and clutch, just need to get the adapter, and I can put it in....then I should be pretty solid.

Skip all the time and money in suspension and get some 28/10/17 hoosier slicks . No suspension mods needed . Next would be a higher stall converter .
