your gauge in the picture is right of center mine is were your is but only left of center it never got to center of the gauge. You might take it to the dealer and ask them to replace the sensor that you've taked to other mustang owners and there's never goes past center. If you changed oil and it's still there I'd say it's the sensor.

definitely. Changed it twice and still the same so definitely has to be the sensor. I need to make a trip to the dealer soon anyway for a separate issue regarding some rattling underneath the car, which I will be creating a separate thread for that.

I think you just have a bad sensor.
