Well, even though I've had the new Steeda clutch spring installed in the car, the weather here has been weird (including today's snow storm), but I finally got a chance this weekend to test it out.

Originally, I didn't have the stock spring in my car at all. But, Steeda's spring made me want to put the unit back in and see the difference. There definitely is a difference. The factory spring was too heavy and made the top of the pedal feel off- especially when gently starting from a stop for "normal" driving. The Steeda spring is much smoother and less noticeable. Around town driving is much pleasurable versus the OE spring, and I do like the little bit of resistance better than no spring at all. Definitely a worthwhile mod for the money.

Been spending a lot of time in the "Photography Hangout" thread, getting some new ideas and trying to hone the hobby. Never been one to add much "flare" to my pictures, but I always like trying to new things and broadening my horizons, haha.

Marcus those pics are sick! BTW just realized you painted your Mishimoto tank white, looks killer! One of my favorite S550's out there!

How are the white calipers to keep clean?

Thank you Mike! Appreciate that dude

They're not that bad. They do get dirty, like the rest of the car (white problems), but when I wash the car, I use a microfiber to just wipe them down and they come perfectly clean. Hardly any extra work to my detailing, really.

Finally got the opportunity to install more Steeda goodies! Well, also Diode Dynamics goodies that came from Steeda :D

My interior latch showed up on Friday while I was at the NYIAS and I finally got the chance to install it today. As always, Steeda definitely provides a quality product and I was very pleased with this from the start. Finish of the latch is super nice and definitely feels much more sturdy than the plastic handle. I had a hard time deciding between black and the standard raw finish- but I think this matches the pedals and dead pedal cover (still in the mail) perfectly.

Install is the easiest thing you will do in your life. After you open the package,
use a tiny flat head screwdriver or trim tool to pop off the cover in the center of the existing latch.
Next, insert a 10mm socket into the center hole of the latch to depress the two ears holding the latch in place.
Once they're pushed back (you'll be able to feel it), wiggle the OE handle off. The new one goes on and you're done. That's it. Guys that have installed this already know.
Thanks again to David@Steeda for bringing another awesome piece to my attention.

Super impressed with the Diode marker lights. My OE markers were tinted pretty dark, and I was unsure how this would match, but it looks so much better. No more red hue going on- just pure smoke. Matches the rest of my tint nicely and looks so much better than the single bulb OEM unit. Never thought such a small exterior piece would make such a classy impact.
