Well, even though I've had the new Steeda clutch spring installed in the car, the weather here has been weird (including today's snow storm), but I finally got a chance this weekend to test it out.
Originally, I didn't have the stock spring in my car at all. But, Steeda's spring made me want to put the unit back in and see the difference. There definitely is a difference. The factory spring was too heavy and made the top of the pedal feel off- especially when gently starting from a stop for "normal" driving. The Steeda spring is much smoother and less noticeable. Around town driving is much pleasurable versus the OE spring, and I do like the little bit of resistance better than no spring at all. Definitely a worthwhile mod for the money.
