Took some time this weekend to finally get some things done on the car. I've been slacking...
Pulled the fascia and installed the tow hook I've had sitting in the garage all winter. While kits already exist, $170 seemed insane to me when I could easily reproduce a bracket. Using a flat bar and hot shaping it made a perfect bracket for the bumper bar. A coupler was welded to the bar and it was good to go. Total cost was roughly 1/4 of what a "kit" would have been.
While the fascia was off I also sanded down the splitter rods and resprayed them since they were pretty beat up from rocks... And, since I was painting, I decided to finally match the rear rods and bolts, as well.
Lastly, tire letters. I think I'm ready for Carlisle...
