Took some time this weekend to finally get some things done on the car. I've been slacking...

Pulled the fascia and installed the tow hook I've had sitting in the garage all winter. While kits already exist, $170 seemed insane to me when I could easily reproduce a bracket. Using a flat bar and hot shaping it made a perfect bracket for the bumper bar. A coupler was welded to the bar and it was good to go. Total cost was roughly 1/4 of what a "kit" would have been.

While the fascia was off I also sanded down the splitter rods and resprayed them since they were pretty beat up from rocks... And, since I was painting, I decided to finally match the rear rods and bolts, as well.

Lastly, tire letters. I think I'm ready for Carlisle...

Had a blast at Carlisle- so many cars I wish I could add to my garage lol. Was awesome hanging out with friends and meeting up with people that I've talked to. Even managed to win 2nd place with the car.

Now to get the car ready for Slammed Enuff in Wildwood, NJ this Sunday.

Went down to Wildwood this weekend for the Slammed Enuff indoor show. Perfect weekend for it, too. Weather was good and the Race of Gentlemen was going on down on the beach so there was plenty to see.

Haven't updated this in some time, but I've been busy on the car. [MENTION=9610]jayman33[/MENTION] really came through for me and helped to lighten my wallet with a Stage II ProCharger kit with the D-1X upgrade. Paired the kit with DW 1000cc injectors, VMP's plug 'n play boost a pump, NGK 6510 plugs and the "Big Red" open race bypass valve.

The D-1X is massive and beautiful, but the kit still needed a little something to be "mine"...

After painting/coating everything to match it was time to start the install. Not going to cover that as the install guide does a fine job of it and it's been done plenty of time before me. I will, however, add that the D-1X does not just slide right in- there was a good amount of modifications that I needed to make to get it in there.

But, after some tweaking and manipulating it all fit beautifully and I ended up with this...
