Anyone run this and have decent iat’s? Also what is this similar to size wise in ESS? I know of a killer p1 deal…it is an h.o. Kit with standard intercooler. Just want some thoughts first.

My IAT's during typical driving are 3-5 degrees F above ambient.

A few degrees above ambient is normal while cruising it's when it's in boost is when it matters.

The standard procharger intercooler is bigger then the g3 intercooler and would work well for 10 pounds of boost or so.

My IAT's are low. Like mentioned 3-5 degrees higher than ambient. However, I have a massive Procharger Intercooler.

Really need to see a IAT log over a 1/4 mile pass (or 60-130 pass) to be useful

Did the big IC allow you to retain the bumper support/crash bar?

I have a couple of 50-100 runs on YT I'll post them. I have more on Instagram.

This one went from 78 to 108 then back down.

This one went from 92-95 then back down.
Well of course it only went up a few degrees on a little tiny 4sec hit, you silly goose. As stated above, quarter mile hit gives you solid data.

Yes, it all fits. I even have a massive Mishimoto aluminum radiator and somehow that fits too. I don't know how, it's really tight.

He was asking for 60-130 so my 50-100 post was just a reference. Figure another few more degrees if I went another 30.

Someone else can post their 60-130. If my DSS Carbon fiber driveshaft didn't break, I'd go do a 60-130.

I suppose if that's all you do, 50-100 or 60-130 those numbers can be relevant to you. I guess I just don't understand those tiny hits and trying to use that data for anything. With such a short duration any intercooler will due. Kinda like saying I run 10psi and have no iat issues. Cause that's not enough boost to make any kind of heat.

I'm not using it for data. It's just the only runs I recorded. Since my kid is in the car recording me on these I try to be somewhat responsible. My roll races are not recorded (by myself), well I have one on my Instagram.

Sorry, I try to stay off the forums because of the negativity. I'll delete these links.

Nobody being negative, just a discussion. Do what you want!
