You need to ask people that have owned both kits or that have experience with both kits. I went with Paxton so idk if the procharger is better. I'm really happy with my Paxton. For the money I believe Paxton is the best one. Paxton was really easy to install did it with a friend in 10 hours taking a couple breaks. I think you'll be happy with either kits.

I went PC just because I knew there wouldn't be a conflict with the GT350 manifold and spacer for the stock TB as nobody had really walked that bridge at the time I ordered yet. Not cutting anything in the engine bay was just a bonus. Otherwise, I would've gone Paxton for the cost benefit. Love the ProCharger D1 but bang for the buck, it's Paxton that wins.

First of all, I didn't mean to hijack your thread, actually I wanted to ask the same question as I'm going back and forth with my decision.
Went on to the teambeefcakeracing.com and priced both kits in identical configuration as beef cake special. To my surprise they both were at 7.4k after all add ons to match the specs. I understand that prices will be different depending on the seller cost, sales volume, etc. Really considering Beefcake for parts and labor as he's only 5hrs drive from me. Problem is, I can't make up my mind. LOL

Will I be able to run one or the other with stock exhaust manifolds/cats for about 5k miles? until next wave of upgrades will come sometimes next year. The only other thing I'll upgrade at time of SC installation will be opgs, cs, balancer, secondary chain tensioner

You don't need headers for either of them.

After months of trying to decide, I went with Paxton, Beefcake Special due to the 'bang for buck' factor. I wanted the black finished kit and it was much cheaper than the the Procharger D1 w/black finish.

Tuned in for the replies. I'm in this same debate. I really like the ON3 TT kit. But I already have headers. So it's PD or a centri setup. But lack of low end grunt on the centri setups compared to PD's, is a small concern.

I would call what I have far from "lack of low end grunt". The thing builds fast and flat out rips 305 NT05Rs from the pavement up to and including 4th gear.

Just looking at the torque curves. Not saying it's bad or anything. I'm still trying to figure out the BOV setup on centri setups to build boost lower with different pulleys. If I could get around whipple stage 2 power. I would be happy. Plus I could keep all my bracing from the performance package.

all of the kits will make about the same power that we do

a bov doesn't control boost

a wastegate does

we have a wastegate setup for the paxton kit

Sorry I mixed that up.

Is the Paxton compatible with the GT350 intake?

I've been trying to buy a kit for a while now but with a 4 month old and paying for my MBA out of pocket, things never seem to go my way... I've been planning on going with the Procharger Stage 2 w/ the D1sc.. Probably not the best reasoning, but i just simply love how aggressive the PC intercooler looks.. The d1sc will make the same power as the paxton, unfortunately it's just a little more expensive.
