Hi guys wanting to get input on these two units. Looking to purchase one of these units very soon from Beefcake. I’m looking at the Beefcake special Stage 2 ProCharger P1X and the Stage 2 Paxton Novi 2200sl. I have searched and most of the older threads compare the Novi to the D1C, the P1X wasn’t out yet. I will be running E85 and my goal is to be at 750 to the wheels. I mainly roll race 50-140 mph. Which one would be better?
I know the P1X has a 65,000 rpm and a CFM 1,275
The Novi 2200SL has 52,000 rpm and a CFM 1,450
Cost wise the Novi will save me money. They both install differently from each other I prefer the P1X and it’s layout but the savings on the Novi is significant.
Which would be better for me, Car is a 2017 Auto has headers and a ported GT 350 Mani.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

around 800-850 rwhp. dont want to touch the engine. only willing to swap out OPG/crank spr. e85 tune fine too.
P1x sounds like the move. Room to grow is what most would say, but not what most do.

After extensive research and comparison on my end. and personally owning a v3si. You'd be happiest with the v3jt. Tapping the oil pan is easy compared to doing ops/cs. don't get me wrong prochargers are great units. But have you seen the crank pulley design? you're also using two tensions on a weak crank snout. Personally, no thank you. vortech/paxton units utilize the factory tension and you'll be able to achieve your goals relatively easy.

Not biased at all and personally hate my v3si but just wanted to give you my opinion.

The stage 2 crank pulley design for stock balancer and ATI works great! Extensive track testing here with both setups.

Yea but have you done “extensive research”??
