I've gone back and forth with this descision. I like the out of the way installation of the procharger, but I hear the Paxton is hard to beat.

I'm running 119-122 in the 1/4 n/a with gt350 Intake and would like to hit 140+ in the 1/4. I do have a manual car.

Any Opinions? I've read and read and read post about this. I have owned Paxton, powerdyne and vortech on fox bodies. I have no experience with procharger.

Thanks

Could also go Vortech from Terry. Talk to Beefcake, tell him your goals, he'll give you pricing and his experienced opinions and you'll be all set.

the paxton and f1a are 2 different setups.

the f1a is too large of a blower for a stock engine, imo, hard to slow it down enough, the d1 and paxton are more comparable

if you have a built engine the f1a can make some steam.

but that would be more comparable to a billet ysi like we have on our 2015 car.

we have been 9.08 with it at full weight,

hoping to knock down some 8s this sunday at lunds private track rental

really comes down to goals, the paxton is hard to beat at 800 or so rwhp potential for an out of the box kit.

let me know overall goals, etc. and we'll put a package together for you

Goal is to run 140 or better in the 1/4. Car runs 119-122 now n/a.

Current mods are full exhaust no cats, gt350 intake, jlt cai and lund tune, drag wheels.

Manual car

Thanks for the replies

what's the price of the F1A kit?

these guys got a lot of power out of a paxton. Using Shell URT fuel. No idea how many PSI a stock 2015 coyote is good for.

the 7,200-rpm redline came quickly and all of us scrambled to get in front of the computer. Boost shot up to 19 psi and output increased to a staggering 996 rwhp!

140 is very doable on a paxton, def doable on an f1a,

were hoping to be doing 163-165 tomorrow with our vortech full weight 2015 at lunds private track rental at cecil

And they have prochargers on them? I thought that's why it's called "STOCK"
Was this post about stock coyotes, or blower choice? Hmmm. I thought it was about blowers... In that case try modified coyote nmra, and why is it limited to coyotes again??? Pro charger is the top supercharger in any racing category as far as superchargers go, unless I suppose next you want to go to promod D rotor blowers.

Bottom line Paxton, vortech, procharger all good mild build blowers, but if op is even considering stepping up to F1A he plans on going well beyond mild street builds.

actually, when we ran the class, we were the quickest / fastest car with a vortech

but joe is doing very well with his procharged combo now

Still wasn't Paxton ;).

Good friend of mine with a fox actually went very low 5's on 275's with a Ysi. Changed to F1X over the winter and now 4.90's
