My tune issues are fixed but the last dyno pull with boss manifold was 663/556 (6r80). I had massive fall off after 6500. All of that has been sorted out with a bunch of refreshed tuning and a vacuum leak fix. Butt dyno says so at least.

I’ll see if I can make it by the shop I originally dyno’d at for a new pull.

Currently running a 4.88. I plan to pulley down 1 and add the boss and with the OPG I can rev higher with no worries. :headbang:

I did see slight boost drop from the manifold, but it went back up once I put on the Mak power pipe,

I dont have any numbers yet either, but I am a firm believer that with the proper tuning it is a great addition to the procharger setup

Did you guys with the boss mani notice any (boost) drop when you did the switch from stock?
Can’t say, I was on wastegate when I did the swap and the boost controller would have compensated for it. I’m back on my 4.75 and making 12.5 at 7500rpm 13 at 7800.

I had the boss before I went boosted, but my boost seems to be in line with others on the same pulley. I'm seeing around 10ish psi up top, with the boss and o/r headers.

Sniper is worth it for anyone on the fence about it, I was reading for weeks about all the mixed reviews. Couldn't decide between it or the Boss but I pick up a slightly used one with everything needed for $350. There is some low end loss 15-18 hp-tq under 4500rpms but just all gains from there on with a peak gain of 110 whp & 29 wtq at 7000rpms. Car is auto, Paxton 2200sl, 4.47 pulley, 6 inch fmic, headers, no cats, wastegated on 12lbs on 93. Peak numbers went from 661@6450 to 719@7000 STD all being the same with the set-up but the sniper.
So it's safe to say the stock mani was causing my noise dive in power after 6500rpm.
E85 & 15lbs is coming up shortly.

Edited: the car does have a 20% over drive also, I left that out of the mods list above. Hits pretty hard down low, comparable to a PD on the streets to be honest.

I know right, we were all pretty shocked! We were thinking it would carry to 7k for maybe another 40 hp max. But 110 whp for $350 used or $600 new is my new best bang for the buck next to switching to e85.
Yes there are 2, this is the basic one or the cheaper one of the 2.

Hey pin do you have a dyno graph with the two setups over layed? It would tell the entire story seeing the actual graphs. Also, does the sniper reuse the stock tb and is it in the original location?

Yes it re-use the stock tb, you can buy a spacer for around $50 or grind a small portion of the mani to make it work.
PS this wasn't the final run the low end was cleaned up with very minimal loss. Very happy to say the least, my goal was to lose the 6500rpm wall I was hitting & carry 40-50whp more so this doubled my expectations.

Looks like it picked up a nice chunk of whp/wtq from 5500-7500rpm and if they tightened up the low end to be about equal with the stock mani, then thats really solid! How much boost are you running? Might have even better gains with higher boost levels
