Guys,
Can I fit a 305/35/19 tire on my pp2?
Not much room upfront.

Can you FIND a 305/35R19?

Why do you want one instead of a 305/30R19 that actually has some choices?

If you want a taller winter tire, go for a 285/35R19. Cheaper, better tire selection, and narrower is better for snow yet it will still fit on the stock wheels.

if you're worried about winter, just get a set of pp1 wheels and slap some blizzaks on.

The OP lives just north of LA. What makes you think he wants winter tires. He’s just asking if it will fit.

ps. I have no idea :)

There was a guy on here that ran squared 305/35/19 on a 2018 PP2 and claimed no rubbing. Someone recently posted running 305/35/19 on a PP2 and thought he might have a very slight rub at full lock. Never heard an update. If you are looking at PS4S, I think there's a 295/35/19 that might be better for the front. 305/35/19 should be no issues on the back.

Edit: Doesn't look like PS4S comes in 305/35/19, but Pilot Super Sport comes in both 295/35/19 and 305/35/19.

Curious why you would want a taller tire?

I was told, not sure how true, that a smaller diameter tire is similar to increasing the gearing. so you 3.73 would be more like a 3.9 and that could mean faster acceleration.

Smaller tires weigh less and at the wheels, less weight is a help.

All true, but I think some people are willing to sacrifice this to fill the wheel wells a little more (not so much gap between tire and fender).
