PP1 oil filter funnel

Nope, misses it by a few inches. Oil drips all over the skid plates and stuff and even after a bunch of cleaning and wiping, you'll still have a few drips on the garage floor in the coming week. Several ideas in the thread to keep it from happening but I bought the funnel and use it well.

Flap works just fine for me. Maybe they changed it in '18?

Cool idea but can I patent my no mess method of simply using a few empty plastic grocery bags? Line them up under the filter and let gravity lead the oil right into the pan.

IANAL, Anyone can attempt to patent anything. And even get it approved, however holding up in court is the test. I suspect a patent for bag under fluid and letting gravity do the work won't hold up as too vague.

I actually haven't gotten around to it as I'm about to move and the 3d printer is locked up.

I'll respond if I get it worked out and printed. Will be months though.
