2nd oil change at 11% / 18,000 miles with 5W/20 Amsoil. Bought the 4 gallon case. Femco drain plug worked great.
I removed the plastic guard behind the belly pan - remove two screws, and loosen two, and then pull the guard out forward. This exposed the filter best.
Made a DIY oil filter funnel from a large plastic drink cup. Had it my way. (Make the cutout window a little larger than in the photo to make it easier to unscrew the filter.) I had to hold it up in place while unscrewing the filter. Worked pretty well! I put on the larger Ford Racing filter. I'll need a bigger cup to do this for the big filter next time, LOL.
I ordered the Amsoil spout. Wow what a great purchase. Fits their gallons and quarts. Just bend it over almost 180° and hike up the full gallon and start pouring straight into the engine - no funnel required! Didn't spill a drop. Car took exactly 7 quarts, so i guess I got all the old oil out.
I ordered the Amsoil fluid syringe, thinking I could use it to empty my FR catch can. Who knew it would be so big? Tube won't even fit in the can, so I popped it out the usual way and tipped it. Got out maybe a large jigger of oil. Didn't check it once in 9,000 miles. I bet I can use the syringe to change out diff oil, in lieu of a pump.
Blew out the OEM air filter with air. Gave the wheels a good cleaning. Cleaned the brakes with DUB. Rotated tires.
Oil change took me about 1 hour, but cleaning the wheels and other stuff took another four, taking my time (translation = I'm slow).
