So I guess the thing that said "only 1 left" was true! Sorry, guys, but at least Justin will be making another batch.

Got mine in the mail today. Looks like a solid, well-designed piece.

Thank you, Justin, for taking the time and having the expertise and equipment to come up with this solution, and for sharing it so the rest of us can benefit from your effort!

Good for you Justin...that's how to solve the problem of that messy filter change. I just ordered mine today.

The PP cars have a different cross base and belly pan. Also, I’m not sure the engine and filter is in the same location on the earlier mustangs. I’m going to get my hands on a 2016 pp this week and I’ll let you know.

The mustang I checked this weekend turned out to be a base GT. I’m having a hard time finding at 2016-2017 GT premium or PP 5.0 mustang. I’ve tried the local dealerships, but no luck so far. I’ll keep searching.

Could be wrong, but I think Shocker was wanting to know if it worked on a non PP car. Either way, I have a 2015 and took a photo. Car is on the ground, but should be pretty representative. I don't think they changed the access location from 2015 to 2018 on the PP cars if that helps.

Your original post.

PP cars have the flap for easy access to the oil filter, since the belly pan is different than base GTs. Base cars do not have a flap and I think you need to pull the pan to get to the filter. I would think this will fit regardless, just more of a pain for base GTs to use it. Is that what you’re asking?
