The list of additional options it adds has been posted several times on here. It's definitely worth it as long as you are paying UNDER MSRP.
I would never pay at MSRP for any vehicle. Even if my wallet was bulging with money.

Couldn't imagine my S550 gt without the perfpack. Now my recaros maybe not so as I get fatter lol...
I've heard this from a lot of people.

I don't think I could do the Recaros. I'm afraid my frame might be too big. I'm 6'5 240. I'm not sure that would be the best for comfort.

Just find a car (Eco/GT) that has them and try. Figure out a way to sit in them for more than 5-10 minutes though. I liked them a lot at first, but started to get uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. I'm 6'1, 230 and wide shoulders.

The GT350 Recaros on the other hand...those are amazing and I was super comfortable for 2 hrs in them. They actually have tighter bolsters overall, but they don't come nearly as far into the middle of your back, more just your lats/side. The Focus/Fiesta ST Recaros are the worst for that.

I got you both beat. 5'11" and 340. I sat in Barton Shifters car at Mustang Week last year. It had Recaros. I thought I was going to have to call Fire and Rescue to come get me out of those seats. LOL!!
The seat was a little too far forward and that made it somewhat difficult for me too. I should have just slid the seat back a few more inches.

There hasn't been a single day I've driven my GT/PP daily driver and thought "I wish I hadn't bought the PP." However, I already have new springs, struts, and sway bars sitting in the garage awaiting install. I may have been happy to get a non-PP and just do those upgrades immediately to the non-PP. But I would still be lacking other features I guess. Still "no ragrets."

I thought it was worth it for a few reasons, but most revolving around my ignorance.

I don't know how to take a non PP car and upgrade it to make it the same or better myself. I can read the threads here by people that have forgotten more about these cars then I will ever know and make informed decisions on the parts I want and don't want... but doing the work... having the tools to do the work is not something I have. I want to get there and I am starting slowly, but I am no where near where I want to be. So buying the PP let me get the 3.73 gears, stiffer chassis, better wheels and tires, bigger radiator etc that I knew I wanted but had no way to do it myself.

If you can do all of this on your own, than maybe the non PP is the better option.

The biggest upgrade on the pp, other than Brembo breaks is the oversized radiator. If you plan on the future to either put in a tune or FI,,,,,, you need the cooling. The suspension is always and usually one of the first mod's, right behind exhaust, to get changed.
The strut tower brace has to be removed if you go roots type SC'er,
You can always put different engine mounts and drop the engine an inch or so.

Obviously the PP is better! I don't why anyone would buy a non PP manual GT...
.
3.55 gears
20 inch wheels

2 reasons not to buy the PP.

Add ford strut tower brace, steed g-trac extreme brace, and steeda rear sub frame brace all for about $500 and I have MY perfect car.

What is important for you is NOT important for me.

in 18 months never has my car "over heated" or "ran a stop sign". My radiator and brakes are just fine.

Brembo is to brakes watch SONY is to stereos. Just another name brand company who sold out quality to make money on mass quantity.

I agree with you and this doesn't have to turn into another "manual vs auto" thread, but I will say the Brembo's on this car are really good. Over all Brembo quality may have dropped, but it doesn't seem they skimped here.

It took about 1500 miles for my Recaro seats to get broken in. Now they are very comfortable and fit me great. I sat in the passenger seat, which maybe has 200 miles of ride time in it, and it was very snug, and proved to me that my seat really has conformed quite well to my manly stud body.

Check that, Brembo is found on cars a lot more expensive than Mustangs.

The factory radiator and brakes are sufficient for typical street driving, since Ford doesn't want a lawsuit or recall. If you push the car hard or track it, or maybe go with a power adder, those additions would be good to have. 435 hp is sufficient too, but...

I know. I am just saying....BREMBO.....is one of the few brakes that are "branded"...... they are better then the standard brakes on the mustang for sure....6 vs 4 piston. Just people think BREMBO is just awesome tech...when in reality they are just another mass produced brake product that happens to have name recognition.

You can't drop the engine low enough, I looked really hard into it. Plus with that SC'er looks better uncovered! Lol
I'd also promise that you will never know its gone just by driving it. I honestly cannot tell that is gone performance wise.
