Trying to figure out which of these to go with. Will be matched with BMR 076 spring kit. It's a daily driver at this point. Dont want a overly stiff or jarring ride when going over imperfections in the road (lot of that here in OK) honestly better handling isn't much of a concern. Just trying to get the car to look good and have good straight line traction and performance while not killing the ride quality. I would have already probably ordered the PP shocks and struts but having a hard time finding them. Thanks for the help

Hey man I was kinda in your boat. Wanted to upgrade the suspension but am a total noob as this is my car.

Went with the BMR C005 cradle lockout kit, BMR SP763 springs and picked up FR shocks/struts from the classifies. Got some steeda camber plates too.

If you look on this subforum @BmacIL is knowledgeable about this stuff and is pretty active so I've been following his recommendations

These threads were helpful with my decision:

definitely go with the FP track shocks/struts. They're a significant upgrade over the PP shocks/struts and the ride quality is almost the same.

Really? Well it would be easier to order that kit. Just hoping it wouldn't be too stiff.

Springs I ordered is SP763 BTW. The minimum drop springs, not the handling version.

I had the base suspension and considered getting the PP shocks/struts as an upgrade but in the end i went with FP track kit even though i was highly skeptical it would be too harsh for a DD. I was wrong, the car handles much better after and even though the ride is definitely a little bit firmer than before, it is livable for a DD. You will feel more of the road surface and imperfections, and on some really bad roads it gets little jarring at times but not too uncomfortable. FYI, the roads where I live are much worse. I don't regret getting the Track kit, the only thing i would have done different was getting different springs, probably the BMR linear ones.

Btw, I've also heard good things about the Steeda ProAction dampers, you might want to consider checking them out.

Might want to double-check that part number - I'm finding S197/GT500 drag springs coming up when I search BMR's site on that part number.

I'd look to the FP shocks - or better yet, adjustable dampers, where you'd spend a little time in the beginning finding the settings you like best and basically leaving them alone after that.

Out of the two choices for sure get the FRPP Track Dampers. My PP shocks were leaking at 8k miles and aren’t worth the money.

As mentioned earlier, also consider ProActions (fixed or adjustable). Mine ride supurbly, have taken great abuse (to include two winters), and would match well with your proposed springs.

Shelby had a great Cyber Monday sale on the FP track shocks and struts kit $465. I couldnt pass the deal up so I ordered the kit. Cant wait to feel the difference. I'm lowered on BMR springs, and have the BMR swaybar kit. Car will be nice and tight now!

I think this is one of the combinations that @BmacIL recommends usually and should ride very nicely. I've never heard anybody say the the Track shocks/struts run harshly, they all tend to say it handles much better than stock and is much more forgiving than they would have expected.

It does. Steeda fixed pro action would also pair quite well with them, but I really like the way the FP track feel.

I'll vote Steeda as well , I can only compare them to the stock PP dampers though.

I agree with that assessment. It glues better to the road in a good way. Not a crashy way.

Folks have to remember, bad roads are bad roads. And it's a Mustang not a cushy SUV.

I'll add another vote for the Ford Performance shocks. I installed the track pack a few weeks ago and it's amazing. Everything I hated about the stock suspension is gone. (ride height/wheel-gap, brake dive, launch squat, body roll, that gross floaty feeling above about 80mph, etc)

The car handles amazingly now. I'm really happy with it. Only problem is my IRS subframe is out of alignment. I've got parts on order to fix that, though. Should be here shortly.
