Making another thread because I feel like this isn't really related to my other thread. I've got a Mustang GT non-PP and I'm upgrading the suspension. Maybe I will do 1-2 track days per year, mostly curvy mountain roads here. Ride height is a huge issue here, I actually can't enter some parking garages of malls at stock ride height (I tried last night, the resonator hits the ramp and I didn't want to go further lol). The roads are bad. I was thinking to do GT350 springs which drops it 3/8" front and rear then bring it back up with spacers. But now I'm thinking it's better/easier I do performance package springs which are a little stiffer than the non-PP. Get some struts/shocks that match them, and then larger sway bars from GT350.
Can I do the Ford track strut/shocks with these springs or its overdamped for the PP springs?
If not, can anyone help me out with the part numbers for the oem PP strut/shocks?
Would it make sense to do camber plates? maybe more camber would be helpful.
So far i've got on order:
BMR Rear LCA Bearing
Ford Performance Tow Links
Ford Performance Tow Link bearings
BMR CB005
Ford Performance Control Arms
Ford Performance Strut Brace
I imagine this will sort me enough for some beginner track days and if I want more, I can look into different springs or whatever.
