Yeah, thanks. I ended up getting the 10.5" wheels. Unfortunately because of the way things are right now in the world I'm not supercharged yet. Just headers and E85 tune with suspension. I ended up doing a 275/40R17 MT ET street R tire. It works well. The shorter tire gives me more gearing for...
Basically, when you get a new set of upgraded oil pump gears check them for too much clearance. They literally should have the same clearance as stock.
New upgraded oil pump gear has too much clearance causing low oil pressure which looks to be the cause of that engines cylinder wall scoring which lead to a rebuild because of it. That was a gen 2 engine.
Damn, that must have been a hell of a delay. Mine still ran a 12.6 @116 but it pissed me off because I don't know how much better it could have done on a clean run and I didn't have time for another pass. Now that I am modded I don't have a good stock baseline to go off of.
This is exactly how it felt. Well, I was only really trying to get a stock baseline anyway. LTH headers and E85 tune are happening next week. Thanks for replying and now I know for sure.
So, my first ever run in this car the 1-2 shift cut all power like torque management or something kicked in and threw me forward. It didn't slip. I had it in drag mode with the traction and stability trac off. Track was so busy I only got 1 run in before I had to leave. Car is stock with some...
Just thought I would post this. This guy has around 20k miles on the stock sealed long block. It has numerous passes at around 1100RWHP and runs mid 8's. He never blew the engine but upgraded it anyway in the quest for 7's. What the engine builder found was that 2 cylinders had a looser...

I didn't read through the whole thread but this kit is more expensive than a Whipple or Edelbrock kit any way you SLICE it. The Whipple at the same boost looks to make just as much power. Why would we choose this over the other options?
Glad to see that not all models come with that wing, I think it looks great without it. DCT should make for a quick car. Wondering if the curb weight rumors were true though. Wondering entry level MSRP too.
get both if you want but in my experience on a Coyote only the passengers side is needed on a NA setup. Maybe if you were road racing the car you might need a driver side.
Noticed mine had it. Was sick for a couple days so car just sat in garage. Went out to cold start it and take video knowing it would be obvious on a cold start and it wasn't there anymore. Changed oil just in case. Still not there but I'm not holding my breath that it wont come back. I am...
So that's why I got 15% off my car last month. They were having a hard time selling them. Wondering how much the shift fork issue and engine tick issue played into those declines.
2019 here with a August 2018 build and I have it. Noticed at around 650mi. Seems to do it on cold start but then go away. It is not constant. Like a second or 2 or 3 will go by and then it does it once or more. Sounds like something in the bottom end. Not really sure what I am going to do about...
