The best I've seen on a Gen 2 on you tube vids with the gt350 top end headers and e85 was about 450whp. Anything above that has been boosted. If your constantly racing e85 may be worth it. But cutting my gas mileage in half was not worth the extra 30 or so hp.
I was e85 before I got my vortech. It was the easiest way to get more hp even though I couldn’t tell. Once I got the vortech it was like getting a new car. It’s now even more fun to drive. I can beat hell cats now, it sure pisses them off to.

Get the GT 350 CAI and throw that airaid garbage in the trash where it belongs. Also the 87mm TB is tricky to tune for, back in 17 when I put mine on, Ford was the only tune I could find that ran flawlessly. I've been running the ford racing tune ever since. I know I probably left power on the table, but it runs great. I have the stage 2 power pack and catted long tube headers and put down 425 on a mustang dyno running 93.

What should I be seeing power wise with these bolt ons.

5.2l Manifold
Catless long tube headers w/ full 3.5'' exhaust
Airaid CIA
87mm throttle body

Been told this car is 500whp with just the exhaust and tune which I find hard to believe. Just purchased the car a few weeks ago and looking to see what I should expect with adding these mods. Thanks
Full CJ setup and E85 and A10 trans with converter is about 500 wheel. With that setup you’re probably looking at 450-455 wheel max

I got a 19 with a vortech and I’m making 659 rwhp. Before I had a straight e85 tune from Lund and I made 423 rwhp. I think every car has different readings tho.
I’m running an a10 with E85 and a drop in filter and Hpipe. Itching for the vortech. Would you do it again? How much more wheel spin are you getting with the Vortech vs your E85 setup? I see so many guys I’m in higher HP cars just spin at the drag Strip

I would save for supercharger or turbo for sure. Saving is a mother, but since you just got the car, I’ll wait and see if it’s healthy enough before adding power to it imo. Who knows if it’s beaten up. I drive my car hard like any Mustang I had before.

Bolt on -I can feel a little.

Supercharger -Who want some!

I did bolt ons before and it’s alright, I’ll go supercharger or turbo to get more power easily.and satisfaction.

Might see some better gains with a ported 18+ manifold vs the GT350 one. Intake, headers, E85, full exhaust are the go-to's for a FBO N/A car. After that you need to go boosted. If you have any questions about mods feel free to give me a call. 1.877.253.8425 ext 211 or send me a PM.

Oh, you see a lot at the track? It seems more ppl are going the whipple route. But with my 4.09 gears and 6 speed the vortech is awesome. I had to get the Firestone Indy 500 tires as my stock zr tires just kept spinning. No grip at all, now it totally sticks you in your seat. It’s really fun. I can get more hp but I’m happy where I’m at 659 rwhp is plenty but with those tires I still spin but not as much and it’s more enjoyable now.

Don’t forget if you get long tubes or anything that removes your cat. Your engine light will come on and no tuner will turn it off. Some new epa law. That’s what Lund told me at least. I heard a sc makes your cat go bad to. So I’m eventually have to do it.
