I have a 2019 GT (6-speed) and I have a JLT CAI, kooks 2 7/8 long tube headers, and exhaust with a 93 octane tune from Shrader Performance (not a dyno tune). Unfortunately in my area I don’t know where I can find E85 and that kinda kills me, but it is what it is. What comes next? How can I make safe, reliable power without spending $8,000+? I don’t have a garage and a lift and all the nice tools so I’ll have to pay for labor too. The car is my daily driver and I plan to keep it that way but I want to hit 500 to the wheels if that’s possible. I’m completely new to all this so any advice is greatly appreciated. Having a hard time finding any dedicated performance shops near me who actually care about their customers and are realistic with them about things.

Stop right here and enjoy the gen 3 Coyote as it is for a daily. You are maxed out, and most likely already making close to 500whp as it is...

Man I get where you’re coming from but wouldn’t it most likely be closer to 440-450 horses to the wheels? Surely I didn’t gain 100 horses just from that without E85 right? Haven’t put it on a dyno yet.

100 shot nitrous plate for under a grand for wiring kit and labor if you were to have it installed and you are certainly there and then some.

I didn't think about the possibility of where you live that Nitrous isn't street legal. Ported heads on these cars aren't cheap. If you want it, here it is on the 18+ cars, it shouldn't be too far off for you.

Thank you sir. By any chance could you tell me the process for something like that? Do I order new parts or do they send mine off to get ported out? Who would do the install for me?

Would be hard pressed to hit 500whp NA with no e85 or spray. With e its cake. I guess if going max effort CJ and cams but at that price you're probably close to boost territory.

I’ve been wondering what the TOTAL cost of parts +installation is to go boosted wether supercharger or turbo whichever is cheaper. I think it’s all for rich people unfortunately :( not normies like us. On top of that I’m pretty sure you need *other* upgrades for forced induction as well right? Like fuel system stuff, etc?

There are some lower entry level super charger stage 1 type options that are reasonable but you would still have labor. With no e85 no need for full fuel system some kits you could get by with injectors and a BAP. obviously abetter tire and suspension goodies would help too

Kinda surprised to hear Steve is still in business, but Pro Dyno in Rock Hill is a full service shop, Dan and Paul do good werk. Well at least I haven't had any issues with them.

IMVHO pass on the ported heads. With installation you'll be 3/4 of the way to a Beefcake 700rwhp FI special.

I hear ya' on the corn, There's a Sheetz station in Troutman off exit 42 on I-77 that carries Flexfuel, It usually runs E80 in the summer, There's a BP in Ft Mill, exit 85 off 77 that carries real E85, but it seems they're out half the time.

I used to keep a 55g drum in my garage to fill my Gen3 during the week and keep it filled using five gallon cans every other week. It was a PITA.

But I see you don't have a garage so that wont work.

Unless there's a reason you want '500rwhp' , a good 93 tune will get you 450,

Good Luck and Stay Safe.

Stop right there. Enjoy the car for a while and then save for boost.
